Refund Policy
Last updated: October 30, 2026
1. Who this applies to
LeanSRM is a business tool offered for business use. It is operated by Dayuan "Frank" Zeng, an individual resident in China, trading as LeanSRM. Purchases are made through Paddle.com, our online reseller and merchant of record, which is the seller of record for your order, issues your invoice or receipt, and processes every refund. This policy describes the refunds and cancellations we commit to. It adds to, and does not limit, the Paddle Buyer Terms and Paddle Refund Policy presented at checkout, our Terms of Service, or any right that applicable law does not allow us to exclude. Where more than one applies, you get the most favourable outcome.
2. Free offerings
The free PO Change Check and the 14-day free trial cost nothing and need no payment details, so there is nothing to refund. The free trial is not covered by the pilot detection guarantee.
3. Founding Pilot ($299, one-time)
The 30-day Founding Pilot is a one-time purchase of $299 (before applicable tax), offered to the first five companies. It does not renew or turn into a subscription on its own. The pilot fee is refundable in these cases:
- Detection guarantee. Detection guarantee: on eligible POs during your 30-day paid pilot, supplier changes to dates, quantities or prices submitted at confirmation through LeanSRM before receiving, and supported receiving variances you record, must appear in your discrepancy list with a dated evidence timeline—or you get a full refund of the pilot fee you actually paid.
- Conditions. At least 1 live PO provided by day 7 and routed during the pilot; confirmations and receipts recorded in LeanSRM; stay reachable for questions about covered records. Before receiving means before the affected line’s first receipt entry is saved, not physical arrival; receiving checks run on receipt save using the recorded shipment and receipt details defined in §7. One covered omission qualifies; no covered event does not prove value. Email frank@leansrm.com to claim as soon as you identify a failure and no later than 14 days after we actually deliver the day-30 report; no report, no claim deadline. We assess each claim against the recorded entries and supporting submission evidence. We will submit a request through Paddle for a full refund of the pilot fee you actually paid to the original payment method within 10 business days of receiving a qualifying request, not internal approval. Paddle processes the refund; approval and bank posting times may take longer. We do not deduct processing fees. Recorded inputs only—request Pilot Agreement §7 free by email before signing or paying; we include it with the pilot offer.
- We do not deliver. If we cannot start your pilot, or a technical failure on our side prevents you from using it, we will submit a request through Paddle for a full refund of the pilot fee you actually paid.
Otherwise the pilot fee is not refundable once your pilot has started, except where required by applicable law or granted by Paddle under its own Refund Policy.
Pilot credit. If you continue without a pilot-fee refund, the full pilot fee you actually paid is applied to your subscription fees from your first subscription billing period onward until used up; no cash-out. We apply the credit through one-time fixed-amount discounts on Paddle subscription transactions, up to the subscription fee due on each subscription transaction (monthly or annual). If you stop before it is used up, the remaining credit stays available for later LeanSRM subscription fees and does not expire; it is never paid out in cash. A pilot-fee refund cancels unused credit; discounts already used are not clawed back. Subscription credit never reduces or delays the full pilot-fee refund. This does not restrict a §7 refund or non-excludable legal rights.
4. Core and Scale subscriptions
Core is $299 per month or $2,990 per year; Scale is $499 per month or $4,990 per year. Founding customers — companies that paid for the pilot and did not receive a pilot-fee refund — can subscribe to Core at $249 per month or $2,490 per year, locked for 12 months from the end of the pilot; this is a private price offered directly to those customers, not a public coupon. All prices are in USD before applicable tax, which Paddle shows before you pay.
- Cancelling. You can cancel a subscription at any time through Paddle’s customer portal (“Manage billing” on your LeanSRM billing page, or the “Manage subscription” link in your Paddle receipt email, or paddle.net). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current monthly or annual billing period: you keep access until then and are not charged again.
- First payment. If you ask within 14 days of the first payment of a new Core or Scale subscription, monthly or annual, we will submit a request through Paddle for a full refund of that payment and cancel the subscription.
- Annual renewals. If you ask within 14 days of an annual renewal charge, we will submit a request through Paddle for a full refund of that renewal and cancel the subscription.
- Other payments. Except for the refunds described above or in section 5, where required by applicable law, or where Paddle grants a refund under its own Refund Policy, monthly renewal payments and payments for a billing period that has already ended are not refundable, and we do not refund partly used billing periods.
5. Billing errors and service failures
If you were charged in error, charged twice, or charged after a cancellation took effect, or if a prolonged outage or material defect on our side prevents you from using the service during a paid period, we will submit a request through Paddle to refund the affected amount. Refunding an extra or duplicate charge does not end access that is covered by a valid payment.
6. How to request a refund
Email frank@leansrm.com with your company name, the email used at checkout, and the Paddle order or receipt number if you have it, and say briefly why you are asking. You can also contact Paddle directly at paddle.net or through the link in your receipt.
7. Timelines
We will submit a refund request through Paddle within 10 business days of receiving a qualifying request, not internal approval. Paddle processes the refund to the original payment method; Paddle’s approval and bank posting times may take longer. We do not deduct processing fees. Any associated tax refund is handled by Paddle as required by applicable law. A delay or refusal by Paddle does not cancel any refund obligation we owe under this policy, and our submission timeline does not extend a shorter mandatory legal deadline. Under Paddle’s Refund Policy, eligible refunds are processed within 14 days of approval. A refund ends access to what was refunded; for a refunded subscription payment, the subscription is cancelled.
8. Chargebacks
Please contact us or Paddle before disputing a charge with your bank or card issuer; it is usually faster. This does not limit any right you have to dispute a charge.
9. Changes
If we change this policy, we post the new date at the top of this page. The version in effect when you made a purchase applies to that purchase.
